Architectural Review Committee

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) was established to help preserve the character, integrity and beauty of the Estates of Barton Creek. According to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the Estates of Barton Creek Homeowners Association, improvements to all homes and lots must be approved by ARC prior to commencement of work on the property.

Improvement projects that require ARC review and approval are:

  • New construction
  • Home additions
  • Changes to the exterior appearance of existing structures
  • Alterations to the landscape

These projects include color changes, fences, sport courts, driveways, roof changes, significant landscaping, and lighting installation.

Routine maintenance and repairs required to maintain your property may be completed without an application so long as there are no alterations to the exterior appearance or footprint of any structure.

Please involve ARC during the planning phase before the design and architectural plans are finalized.
